Summary:  View help for Summary
“There are 583 studies of PTSD treatments in adults. These are randomized controlled trials--meaning, participants were assigned at random to an intervention group to test how effective a treatment is.
Almost half of these studies are therapy trials (44% or 254 of the 583).
There are fewer, but still many, medication studies (18% or 104 of the 583).
And there are also studies that include both therapy and medications (7% or 38 of the 583).”
