Summary:  View help for Summary This data set identifies aids to navigation, or ATONs, such as lights, signals, buoys, and day beacons, that are intended to assist a navigator to determine position or safe course, or to warn of dangers or obstructions to navigation. The U.S. Coast Guard is responsible for ensuring that this network is up to date and functioning properly so recreational and commercial boaters can safely navigate the maritime environment.
