Project Description

Project Title:  View help for Project Title Equity in Athletics Data Analysis
Summary:  View help for Summary Provides data related to equity in athletics. The data are drawn from the OPE Equity in Athletics Disclosure Website database which consists of athletics data that are submitted annually as required by the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA), via a Web-based data collection, by all co-educational postsecondary institutions that receive Title IV funding (i.e., those that participate in federal student aid programs) and that have an intercollegiate athletics program.  For 2008+, data are stored in two Excel, two SAS, and two SPSS files. Each file format has a record for every sport in every institution, and a record per institution. In addition, codebooks have been provided for each file as Word documents.   These files have "Data_Combined" in their file names.  For 2002+, data are stored in Excel, SAS and SPSS file format. Each file has one record per institution. In addition, codebooks have been provided for each file as Word documents.
